This course looks at topics such as alternative fuels/propulsion using sustainable aviation fuels, hydrogen and electricity as well as their direct impact on existing airport infrastructure and their indirect impact on, for examples, slots at airports. This course also explores various theories around management, networks, production and systems to provide a solid theoretical basis for understanding the exciting interaction between emerging technology, management and operation.
Other topics investigated include the broader environment, regulation, digitalisation and societal changes.
