Overview

This course is one of the core units that form part of the Graduate Diploma in Psychology (Advanced) program. This course provides students with advanced skills in the application of statistical methodology for the analysis and interpretation of empirical data in the behavioural sciences. It builds upon an established foundation in critical thinking and the evaluation of scientific evidence, equipping students with the capability to design and execute empirical investigations, collect and collate data, apply appropriate analytic techniques, and correctly interpret experimental findings. Students will gain practical experience in a range of methodological approaches to data collection and analysis via online lectures, activities, and live Q & A discussion sessions. This course is taught entirely online.
