In this course you will undertake a special interest placement that builds on the knowledge and skills you gained through the earlier placement courses. In these placements you will reflect on the dynamic roles pharmacists play in ensuring the quality use of medicines, as either higher level clinical specialty placements, international clinical placements or a clinical or industry project. These placements have been designed to help you to understand, and envision, current and future roles for pharmacists within the continuum of care and the quality use of medicines.

Specialty Placement is an optional placement course for students enrolled in the UNSW Pharmacy Program to participate in either specialised clinical or industry placements in Australia or overseas. Entry to this course is open to students in the international specialisation or through an application process for students enrolled in the general program.
