Handbook - Data Science and Decisions Project

Overview

This course is an opportunity to bring together the skills the students have developed during their Master of Data Science and Decisions program and apply them to a substantive new problem. Students will work in a small group and present results in thesis form and in a presentation. Students will be supervised by an academic staff member from the School and meet one hour per week to discuss and work on the group project.
Note: Available only to students for in the 8959 Master of Data Science and Decisions program.

Students usually complete their project during their last one or two Terms. Students are not eligible to start a project until they have completed at least 36 UoC (typically, 6 courses) over at least three terms.

Conditions for Enrolment

Enrolled in Program 8959 Master of Data Science and Decisions only

Prerequisite: Must have successfully completed at least 36 UoC in their current Program.
