Overview

This course deals with the implications of technological advances on the current and future states of the financial services industry. The course introduces Python as a useful tool for financial analysis and application of such tool range across different FinTech areas, such as digital currency (Bitcoin), settlements (Blockchain), hedging, trading strategies, and financial advisory. The learning is project-based, with emphasis on writing robust programs that execute a desired solution to a realistic problem. The fundamental techniques and methodologies discussed in this course are designed to facilitate problem-solving in the advanced courses covered in the overall FinTech Program.
