Welcome to Power and Australian Government Policy!
This 6UOC course will give students an applied understanding of domestic politics shapes Australia's defence and security decision making. The course uses case study analysis as a foundation for a consideration of the major themes impacting on Australian government decision making. The case studies are drawn from defence, security, cyber security, and wider policy issues, enabling students to focus their study on cases that appeal to their interests and are relevant to their degree. Students will gain a rich and applied sense of how the Australian government works in practice, as relevant to your area of study.
