The aim of the course is to provide a solid theoretical base for logisticians working within the humanitarian environment. At the end of this course students will understand the different phases of the DMC and will be aware of the different logistical needs, flows and performance indicators associated with each phase. As this is a relatively new course emphasis is given to future avenues opening in humanitarian logistics such as professional collaborations, civil-military co-ordination and challenges.
