In this course, you will build on the clinical therapeutics, pharmacy law and ethics skills gained in Dispensing I and apply them to structured integrated cases about dispensing proprietary and compounded products. The integrated cases will provide you with an opportunity to practice your medicine counselling, medicine reconciliation and written skills using simulation.. You will develop skills in documenting clinical interventions, conducting mini medicines reviews, writing referrals and correspondence to health care practitioners, issuing absence from work certificates, and using apps to improve patient outcomes. A series of online modules, recorded lectures and guest presentations from members of the pharmaceutical industry will deepen your understanding of the dispensing process. Your dispensing training will include continuous peer checking.
