In this course you will develop an understanding of the financial system and its components, as well as the concept of financial regulation and its goals, strategies and limitations. You will also be introduced to the foundations of regulation of financial markets, banks and ‘shadow banks’, money and payments, ‘open finance’ and technological innovation in finance (FinTech).
