The focus of this course is to provide a comprehensive grounding to LLM students who have not undertaken legal study in a Common Law jurisdiction. Please note that this course is not intended to satisfy the requirements for admission to practice in Australia and cannot be used for credit in the LLB or Juris Doctor. This course is not intended for students holding a Bachelor of Law or Juris Doctor qualification from an Australian or Common Law jurisdiction.

Conditions for Enrolment

Prerequisite: Enrolled in 9200, 9201, 9225 or MNGTUS8625.
Corequisite: LAWS8213 or LAWS8214
This course is not intended for students who have completed a Law degree in an Australian or common law jurisdiction.
