In this course, you will develop skills in medical note writing and documentation relevant to all clinical dietetic settings. Building on knowledge and skills from DIET4001 Clinical Dietetics and Counselling 1, you will focus on the medical nutrition therapy primarily applicable to tertiary healthcare interventions. Relevant pathophysiology and biochemistry are covered within the subject, however, you will benefit from  revision of previous content from foundational subjects in preparation for lectures and behaviour change management techniques. You will study cases to develop your expertise in communicating diet-disease relationships relevant for a range of complex consultations.
