Handbook

This course provides you with a practical capstone work or project experience that will help synthesise the learnings and experiential insights you have accumulated across the simulation and immersive technologies program and challenge you to test that knowledge in a practical way in real world industry projects or domains. To inform your capstone choices you will be presented with and asked to investigate a cross section of industry projects and engage with leading edge industry partners and mentors. Supported by your course convenor, the capstone placement will be largely self-directed, and requires you to define your priorities and then seek out and negotiate a suitable professional placement. To this end the capstone experience also aims to hone your professional communication and will ask you to develop a professional capability statement. The capstone is multimodal and you are strongly advised to discuss your ideas and interests with your course convenor before embarking on your capstone journey.
