This course provides a broad overview of Data Science as a platform for further studies in Data Science and an understanding and appreciation of Data Science in the modern world. Students will study the fundamentals of Data Science as it is applied in Computer Science, Economics, and Mathematics and Statistics. … For more content click the Read More button below. The content of this course will be delivered via weekly live lectures with academics from three different Schools: The School of Mathematics and Statistics, the School of Economics and the School of Computer Science and Engineering. These concepts will be further explored through a series of tutorials/workshops.

Prerequisite: Enrolled in program 8518 Physical Oceanography or 8959 Data Science and Decisions.
