The Aviation Research project is a core course in the Master of Aviation Management Program. The course provides an opportunity for students to comprehensively research a chosen topic in aviation management and produce a written report. As part of this project, students are supported by experienced aviation and road transport academics and industry experts to develop and strengthen knowledge and skills in research including formulating a main research question and sub-research questions, along with sourcing, organising and collating relevant information using basic research methodologies to understand the chosen area of research for the project. The project may involve researching aspects of the student's employment organisational functions, or some other area of aviation interest. There is an expectation for this project to be significant and of substantive depth, with an expected commitment in alignment with UNSW student guidelines.
