Handbook

This course focuses on the development and presentation of a refined design proposal and body of work that builds on the research conducted in Design Studio Project 1. It provides you with the opportunity to complete and present a major design project and professional presentation.

This course will provide you with an understanding of design practice through the critical application of the theories, concepts and methods applied in the development and evaluation of design concepts. Using an iterative process, you will experiment with materials and the methods for prototyping, testing and evaluating designs that build on the knowledge and experience gained throughout the Master of Design program.

Throughout the course you will continue to work individually, and as part of multidisciplinary teams, to develop critical, rigorous and highly-resolved responses to the design brief prepared in Design Studio Project 1.
