Handbook

This course investigates and critically analyses a range of design contexts, particularly cultural, social, behavioural, ethical, environmental, and sustainability issues within local and global frameworks. You will analyse existing design responses using tools such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) to identify and evaluate diverse stakeholder perspectives, to determine the validity of the design responses and associated processes. Building on this research, you will synthesise and apply your knowledge to a prescribed design challenge, and develop, articulate, and justify your design response. Throughout the course you will reflect upon your own practice and identify, test, and demonstrate your emerging values as a holistic and responsible global design practitioner.
