Overview

This course covers the policy and strategic aspects of business management and also provides a practical and analytical approach to economic policy issues. For purposes of convenience, the course is structured into two parts: Part A (Economics) and Part B (Data Analysis). Part B (Data analysis) provides students with an introduction to basic statistical tools and quantitative methods that are useful in understanding the types of data encountered in business. Importantly, it will provide a framework for approaching economics and business problems, and experience in learning from associated data.
