All business leaders need to be equipped with a forward-looking understanding of these transformative technologies and their effects on the business landscape. They will also need frameworks for identifying new avenues of value creation to capitalise on these opportunities while minimising risks.
In this course, we survey key technology trends that are disrupting and rapidly transforming businesses and the global economy, such as artificial intelligence (AI), Industry 4.0, Web 3.0 and the Metaverse. We then consider the tools required to strategically mitigate risks and identify new opportunities for growth and innovation in the context of this emerging landscape. In doing so, we explore a variety of business models and frameworks that help increase the probability of building the right skillsets to navigate and embrace these transformative technologies.
As the pace of technological innovation is increasing with exponential consequences, it is of utmost importance that business leaders are at the forefront of understanding how today’s transformative technologies can disrupt the businesses of tomorrow.
