The course allows students to view the issues from three different perspectives: users of capital (borrowers), providers of capital (investors), and market designers (regulators or platform owners). Learning is reinforced by relevant assessments, such as testing one’s investment performance in a crowdfunding market (without putting actual capital at risk). It is further supported by cutting-edge research, which highlights opportunities and application challenges in a constantly evolving crowdfunding space.
