Handbook

This course introduces you to the knowledge and skills required for leading and contributing to a project from inception to successful completion in a STEM context. You will learn about the life cycle of a scientific project and identify opportunities and challenges impacting on the decision marking, management and performance. You will also learn to use suitable tools, strategies and processes to articulate a structured and collaborative approach with which to plan, organise, monitor and deliver a scientific project. You will be enabled to develop project management competencies including scope, time, cost, quality, resource, risk, communication and integration management. This course emphasises experiential learning in that you will work with your peers applying your learning on a real-world scientific project and learning from reflections.
