This course provides students with the opportunity to apply their accumulated economics knowledge and build practical business and leadership capabilities through participation in a real-world practicum, in which they will work to deliver social and economic value to a local or overseas enterprise. Throughout the term students will engage in formal learning (both online and face-to-face) of key concepts and skills relevant to effective teamwork and leadership in applied economics, engage reflectively with the work of the team in which they are placed, and demonstrate the real-world value of the economic approaches they have learned in prior coursework.
Conditions for Enrolment
Prerequisite: ECON5101, ECON5102 and ECON5205 and must be in Good Academic Standing.
