This course introduces you to the interdisciplinary nature of environment and society leadership in the context of protected conservation areas. The course includes field-based learning to engage experientially in the complexity, challenges, and dynamism involved in custodianship of protected biodiverse places and illuminate ever-changing ecological and sociocultural demands. Through developing awareness, self-reflection, and engaging with different knowledges, you will finetune your purpose and approaches as an environment and society leader. No prior knowledge of ecosystems science or management is required. You are required to participate in field-based activities including bushwalking.
