The course is applied, using everyday examples and relying on continuous problem solving to ensure progress and assessment. Specific objectives include:
covering key technical concepts used to make financial decisions.covering key methods used in the valuation of assets;providing knowledge to better understand financial topics and decisions as reported in the media and public policy;preparing students to take more advanced courses in finance, such as ZBUS8105 Finance and Investment Appraisal.
