Overview

Financial Modelling intends to make managers more confident and effective users of financial models, helping them to better understand and communicate the practical value of financial models, and to build this literacy for their future work. Students learn to review and critique financial models against best practice principles, analysing and breaking down complex problems into simple conceptual models. They also learn how to apply the tools and techniques of financial modelling to the analysis of real-world business problems and case studies. Finally, they learn to design and construct their own financial models that adhere to best practice principles, evaluating and applying pertinent spread-sheeting techniques to solve complex problems.
