Overview
Exhibition designers design and organise the construction and installation of trade exhibitions, permanent shop displays, museum exhibits and interpretive displays. They use skills drawn from graphic, industrial (product) and interior design to attract, inform and involve an audience in the subjects that their clients employ them to present.

During the course, students will be introduced to the history and evolution of exhibition and display as a cultural marker in societies; the palette of materials and tools at the designer’s disposal and also exposed to a broad range of case studies to highlight the variety of possible design outcomes. Students will undertake a range of design-led activities including the development of marketing/sponsorship material, exhibition layout, signage and graphics.
