This course is an elective coursein the Graduate Certificate in University Learning and Teaching (GCULT) Program.
It utilises and builds on theories of learning and teaching introduced in the University’s Foundations of University Learning and Teaching program, and in EDST 5121 Introduction to University Learning and Teaching.

In this course you will consider learning from a number of different perspectives that include your own experiences and those of your colleagues and students, and the diverse educational literature that draws from fields such as adult learning, higher education, research into disciplinary learning and teaching, and reflective practice. You will be provided with opportunities to explore the nature of “good” teaching in higher education and approaches to teaching that lead to high quality learning.
