Stand Alone Programs
Double Degree Structure
Students must complete 192 UOC.
In this double degree 96 UOC is required for the Bachelor of Commerce, and 120 UOC is required for the Bachelor of Information Systems for a total of 216 UOC. However, the first year Business courses required for both degrees overlap, and therefore the total minimum UOC required for the double degree is reduced by 24 UOC to 192 UOC.
Bachelor of Commerce (96 UOC)

- Prescribed Work Integrated Learning Course*
- Final Year Synthesis
Bachelor of Information Systems (120 UOC)
- Business Core Courses (30 UOC) - these courses will be satisfied by the Integrated First Year Courses taken as part of the Bachelor of Commerce requirement.
- Information Systems Core (72 UOC) - students should enrol into INFS2602 Managing Information Systems instead of INFS1602 Digital Transformation in Business.
- Information Systems Prescribed Electives (12 UOC)
- Work Integrated Learning Course (6 UOC) *
*NOTE: Students are required to complete only one WIL course in the program. Students are allowed to choose the WIL course from either the BCom or BIS list.
Electives
Once requirements for the Commerce and Information Systems programs have been met, students need to take free electives to ensure a total of 192 UOC is completed for the Double-Degree.
Majors/Minors
Students may choose to complete INFSG1 or INGFS2 Cybersecurity Management for the Bachelor of Commerce component, and must follow the rules listed in the handbook for INFSG1 and INFSG2 regarding the the overlapping courses with the Bachelor of Information Systems degree.
