This course studies important works of modern and contemporary Chinese literature. It explores the development of Chinese poetry and fiction in the twentieth century and beyond. Prerequisite: One of the following courses, ARTS3451, ARTS3452, ARTS3453, ARTS3454, ARTS3456, ARTS3458, ARTS2452, ARTS3460, ARTS3462, or ARTS3463. Or language placement approval.
