Fluid properties. Fluids in static equilibrium. Buoyancy. Pressures in accelerating fluid systems. Steady flow energy equations. Flow measurement. Momentum analysis. Dimensional analysis and similarity. Pipe flow. Incompressible laminar and turbulent flow in pipes; friction factor. Laminar flow between parallel plates and in ducts.
