The main emphasis is on the concept of psychological literacy and "how to think like a psychologist". Topics include psychology as a scientific discipline, an overview of areas such as clinical, organisational and forensic psychology, critical and creative thinking in psychology, and specific areas of public concern such as health-related behaviour, where psychology has a major contribution to make.
