DescriptionAn introduction to the nature and objectives of educational psychology from a cognitive, social and ecological perspective, this course covers the nature of learning, the processes involved in social cognition and motivation, and theories of group processes in a school. Theories are applied through an analysis of the match between the teacher, the material and the student, the problems of different learning styles, the management of classrooms and principles of discipline and how these aspects contribute to planning and implementing a learning program in a positive educational environment.
