Description

The course develops advanced skills in multimedia authoring and 3D narratives. Students explore a range of multimedia technologies and their application in the areas of 3D, image manipulation, video, animation, and multimedia authoring. The major assignment is a computer game that incorporates prerendered 3D graphics and animation, as well as real-time 3D. Games are used as a vehicle to explore advanced areas of digital communication, user engagement and 3D representation. The project develops a greater appreciation of issues in game design and communication of ideas.
