Description


A selection of experimental investigations in areas including: chaotic motion; high temperature superconductivity; semiconductors; electron and tunnelling microscopy; X-ray and electron diffraction; magnetic measurement techniques and resonance; atomic physics and the Zeeman effect; electromagnetic waves, transmission lines and waveguides; interaction of ionising radiation with matter and nuclear detection techniques; neutron activation; thin film deposition techniques.Formal scientific report writing and scientific poster preparation.

Note: Some experiments assume knowledge of PHYS2010, PHYS2040 or PHYS2050.
