Description


This course examines Australia's role as a vast source of mineral and energy resources. It concentrates on the impact the continued extraction and consumption of non-renewable resources has on our physical, social and political environment. The issues of global warming, native title, the viability of nuclear energy as a power source, recycling and alternative energy sources are dealt with in detail.
This course is offered online via WebCT Vista. There are no on campus classes.
