Description


Under the supervision of an academic staff member from the School of Mathematics the student undertakes a course in reading and/or research on a topic in Mathematics or Statistics or on applications of Mathematics or Statistics to other disciplines such as physical, biological or social sciences, Economics, Finance, Computing, etc. The student is expected to write an essay of approximately 12,000 words summarising the results of their project.
