This course will introduce you to twice-exceptionality, including the global definitions and how twice-exceptional students may present in the classroom, with a focus on the Australian context. Misconceptions, beliefs, and definitions are explored alongside the opportunity to research, analyse and discuss issues around twice-exceptionality, identification and classroom practice. Finally, strategies for supporting both disability and giftedness in schools, using supportive classroom practices, will be addressed.
