Brief Curriculum: This supervised clinical course is designed to provide guided practical experience in the therapeutic management of ocular disease. The course comprises clinical training in a range of settings, including primary, secondary and tertiary centres.
Students may be required to attend compulsory external clinical placements which require additional costs to cover travel and accommodation.
This clinical placement course appears to have a high number of contact hours. This is due to the nature of the course and are required for the optometry program to maintain its accreditation by the Optometry Council of Australia and New Zealand (OCANZ).
