Overview

The course is a practical introduction to courtroom advocacy. Students will be exposed to examples of various types of advocates and advocacy techniques and problems found in leading cases, trial transcripts, novels, plays, films, and biographies of advocates. Conditions for Enrolment

Prerequisite: Completion of 36 UOC of JD courses including LEJ (JURD7130) and RCD (JURD7271) for students enrolled prior to 2013. For students enrolled after 2013, completion of 72 UOC of JD courses including LEJ and RCD. Co-requisite: CPEP (JURD7251)
