Description

This course will deal with life cycle assessment and its application to energy, water and technologies that provide other services. Methodologies, boundary issues, data bases and applications will be studied. The uses of LCA will be illustrated with industrial case studies. The analytical and planning context for LCAs in the field of sustainability assessment will be examined.
