Description


In this course students will develop an understanding of the legal and ethical issues that frame media production and consumption. They will work through a series of case studies that highlight these issues and their implications for professional practice and public policy.

Topics examined in this course include media content regulation, freedom of speech, the social and health effects of media consumption, privacy, and journalistic ethics.
