Description


This course aims to develop an ability to apply the principles of community eye health in the prevention and treatment of common blinding eye disease in adults and children. The course includes the following topics: (1) the role of screening programs in the prevention and control of blindness and visual impairment (2) controlling common eye infections (3) causes and risk factors associated with common blinding diseases in adults and children (4) investigating epidemics of communicable eye diseases.
